Mr Kenneth Foo Seck Guan has shared the picture of the People’s Action Party () member and the losing candidate in the last General Election, Chua Eng Leong, celebrating Chinese New Year with residents in Aljunied GRC.
Mr Chua is a private banker and his team lost to the team from Workers’ Party by 1 percent in the contest for the 5-men GRC in Aljunied. He is now a Grassroots Adviser for the constituency.
As Grassroots Advisers PAP members have access to millions of dollars to spend for the benefit of the constituency and its residents.
In sharing the picture, Kenneth also explained why he joined the opposition party. He said:

“Some people asked why I join ? Because I hate PAP? No, it’s just because I don’t agree with many of their actions. This photo is the prove of some things I could not agree with them. Loser continue to campaign under the flag of PA using taxpayers money? $555.34 million allocated to PA for 2015. I will never regret my move. 行得直,坐的正,何以畏惧。”

Some people asked why I join WP? Because I hate PAP? No, it's just because I don't agree with many of their actions….
