Facebook user Mariabella Tressa shared how she discovered a man selling eggs for 10 cents each in Bukit Batok. Where the price of eggs in most wet markets and supermarkets average $0.35 a piece, the news of such cheap eggs have gone viral.

The Facebook user in sharing the picture said that she was pleasantly surprised to discover the seller and the cheap price that she offered the older man a dollar as a tip – which he refused.

She captioned her picture: “Blk 374 bukit batok.. this uncle is selling eggs.. 10 cents each.. n so I bought 30 eggs and gave $4 & asked him to keep d change.. he refused and returned $1. Like share and support if u are nearby pls..”
