Kris Wu asks why there are no hot showers in his detention centre, “he thinks he’s at home” — YouTuber

Kris Wu, 32, Chinese-born Canadian rapper, singer, actor and model, was recently admitted to 13 years imprisonment after being guilty of rape.

According to a Taiwanese YouTuber named “Lao Wang”, his source from the detention centre revealed that the rapper’s cellmates often characterize him as stupid – “a fool”. More so, other prisoners can attest that they see Kris privately cry to himself during the night.

It was identified that Kris would also ask why hot water was not available in their showers. Lao Wang expressed that “he thinks he’s at home” and said aside from limited freedom, one of the hardest things about being imprisoned is the “emotional torture” of the present-day news.

The Chinese authorities charged Kris Wu and convicted him as a serial rapist last July 2021 for various sexual harassment cases filed by internet celebrities and underage girls.

The YouTuber added that a number of prisoners occupy a single cell, and those who have been convicted the longest would be getting the bigger beds. Those who are new would need to find their own space wherein they can settle down.

However, Lao Wang’s source stated that Kris’s cellmates would go to him for celebrity gossip from the outside, and they would even request a performance from him. The rapper willingly accepts the requests to be able to secure a bigger bed and spare some work.

Kris Wu was formerly a member of the South Korean boy group, EXO, in 2012. However, he left after 2 years due to issues regarding his contract with his agency, SM Entertainment. When the problem was resolved in court, the rapper’s commitment with SM Entertainment would be valid until 2022, as written in his original contract.
