NUS clarifies: person who passed away in campus is not a student

A reader of The Independent shared with us that a National University of Singapore (NUS) student fell to death from the eighth floor of the campus’ engineering school, Block E3, this afternoon. NUS has since confirmed that the person who passed away is not a student and that the incident did not occur at the engineering school.

The reader, an NUS student who wishes to remain anonymous, shared the following photo with us, adding that further details were being withheld by the school.
