Audi driver who crashed into lampposts at Bras Basah arrested

An Audi R8 mounted the kerb and knocked down three lampposts before coming to a stop at Bras Basah Road. The accident happened this morning at about 7.50am in front of the Cathedral of Good Shepherd.

The 31-year-old driver of the car, was taken to Singapore General Hospital after the accident, which happened at around 6am, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said.

The driver was arrested by the police and investigations are ongoing.
