A domestic helper turned to post her woes on social media after she found that the family she was working for was not giving her enough rest or privacy. In a post to a help group for foreign domestic workers in Singapore, one Ms S wrote that she was very patient with her working situation.

She explained that she was required to work from 8 am to 12:30 am, with most of her work only ending at that time.

Stop bringing your child along when stealing groceries: Yishun minimart advises parent

Singapore – A poster from a Yishun minimart chiding parents for tagging their child along while they stole groceries has gone viral online.

A case of shoplifting at ACE Mart at Yishun Ring Road was brought to public attention through a poster giving the suspects some parental advice. A copy of the poster was shared by Instagram page sgfollowsall on Friday (Sept 17).

“Dear neighbouring residents, kindly refrain from bringing your child along when stealing groceries. We do not wish to see your child learn the wrong things growing up,” ACE Mart’s management team said.

Car suddenly accelerates, split-second away from crushing father and son crossing street

Singapore – A video of a father and son crossing a street and almost getting hit by a vehicle that accidentally accelerated has gone viral online.

“Father and son must thank their guardian angels for keeping them safe,” wrote Facebook page ROADS.sg on Friday (Sept 17).

The video, taken from the rear camera of a vehicle, showed the pedestrians entering the street to cross to the other side.

VIDEO: Teen who backflipped in rhino enclosure for TikTok now charged for abusing frog & killing it

Singapore — The teen who trespassed into the Singapore Zoo’s white rhinoceros enclosure on Dec 17 to perform a backflip for a TikTok video had his bail revoked and is now on remand at Changi Prison after he breached his bail conditions.

19-year-old Ralph Wee Yi Kai is also said to have abused a frog at a Sentosa Cove property a week later.

Making use of his infamy that came from jumping into the rhino enclosure, Wee is also said to have been selling t-shirts with the name ‘Rhino Ralph’ embossed on them.
