Singer Jessica Simpson will be unveiling a book called Open Book where she shares about sexual abuse, alcohol and pill addiction and becoming sober in 2017.
Buzzfeed reported People by saying that Simpson also talked about issues with John Mayer and that time he called her ‘sexual napalm’ in an interview.
In a nutshell, she was dating Mayer on and off in 2006 and 2007 after splitting from Nick Lachey.
In 2010, when things did not go well for them, Mayer shared with Playboy that Simpson was ‘sexual napalm’.
What he said gained a lot of attention and he eventually said sorry for his comment.
In Simpson’s book, she talks about the ‘sexual napalm’ incident from her own view and shared that she removed Mayer’s contact after he said that.

She wrote that Mayer thought she wanted to be called that but instead she was embarrassed that her grandma was going to read that.
Simpson also said she thought he was the most loyal person and when she read it and he was not that was it for her and she decided to remove him from her contact list.
She also acknowledges that Mayer openly apologised and did not want to take that away from him.
Simpson said that Mayer did not see her point of view on the drama as a young woman in the spotlight.
Simpson said that he knows a lot of this about her but does not know the perspective she has as a woman as Jessica in her 20s.
Simpson has nothing to worry about as she is happily married with three children. Recalling some moments for Open Book was difficult but Simpson said that sharing her story is the most rewarding experience. /TISG

Only four days after her wedding, former Elite singer Sasha Saidin has been accused of wrecking her husband’s previous marriage.
Sasha, 43, and her financier husband Sirhan Wahab, 42, shot down the claim which was made in an email.
The email, which went viral, claimed that Sasha had been cheating with Sirhan while he was still married.
Malay Mail quoted Harian Metro as saying that Sasha called it slander and that the couple knew who wrote it. She did not, however, name the sender.
The English, Italian and Malay woman denied claims that her marriage to Sirhan, her former schoolmate, was not approved by his family.

She said both families attended the solemnisation ceremony and wished them happiness.
A blog uploaded the email that alleged the couple had been having an affair since October 2015 and that they went on holiday to Italy and Netherlands last year.
The email alleged that Sirhan took his wife to Dubai and that they divorced in August last year after she gave birth to his first child. Sirhan was accused of neglecting his role as a husband and father while dating Sasha.
The couple tied the knot at The Sanctuary@Taman Melawati in Kuala Lumpur on Monday. Sasha hopes to live in the UAE where Sirhan works.

Sasha married Johan Abdullah Skinner in 2003. They divorced four years later. After that, she married Indonesian Salyo Priyanto Notosoemarsono. They have an 11-year-old son.

Mr and Mrs Smith star Brad Pitt has been making headlines recently hanging out with ex Jennifer Aniston and for making an outstanding acceptance speech at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In the journey up to the Oscars, Pitt spent some time at the 35th annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival talking about his career with Leonard Maltin.
He revealed that he almost made it as part of The Matrix franchise. After accepting the Maltin Modern Master Award, Pitt shared about his career. Maltin asked if there was any role that he passed up on. In an alternate history, Pitt could have acted in a famous movie that people remember by. According to a USA Today report, Pitt said he passed up on a part in the 1999 The Matrix.

He shared that based on his upbringing if he did not get it, then it was not really his. Pitt added that he really believed the role was never his and that it was someone else’s.
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood lead said that if they did a show on the great movies he has passed on, they would need two nights.
Pitt did not reveal which role he passed on for in The Matrix but in 2019, The Wrap reported that on the movie’s 20th anniversary, Pitt was considered for the role of Neo. The role was famously played by Keanu Reeves who played the lead for three films. Whether or not Pitt would have been a better Neo is something we would have to imagine in an alternate history.
Although China has implemented drastic measures to deal with the outbreak of the Wuhan virus, it has spread to more Chinese cities. There are also cases in Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, the United States and Singapore.
On Thursday (Jan 23), Singapore’s Ministry of Health confirmed that a 66-year-old man from Wuhan had tested positive for the virus. Coming from Guangzhou, he arrived in Singapore on Monday (Jan 20) and checked into Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa. By the next day, he had a cough and a fever. On Wednesday (Jan 22), he notified hotel staff of his condition and took a taxi to the Singapore General Hospital. He was admitted to an isolation ward.
In a briefing on Thursday (Jan 23), the ministry confirmed that the man was Singapore’s first reported case of the Wuhan virus. Another two people have tested positive since then.
According to a report by Today, the hotel had implemented precautionary measures such as disinfecting, sanitising and sealing the victim’s room even before the confirmation by the ministry.
A senior hotel official, Mr Josef Dolp, said the four employees involved in the sanitisation process were put in isolation and are being closely monitored by health officials.
The hotel is also working with health officials on contact tracing through its surveillance system. In addition, hotel staff have been thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting rooms when guests check out.
“We have increased our cleaning and sanitising frequency of guest rooms, hotel facilities and all public areas,” Mr Dolp said. “Temperature checks are in place for our guests and colleagues.” The hotel is also working to install information desks in order to address any concerns guests may have about the transmission of the virus. “We will address questions the guests have. We will also, if they want to move, help them to move.”
According to another report in Today, the number of suspect cases has risen since the briefing on Thursday. There are now 44 suspect cases, two of whom are employees of the hotel.

A Singaporean couple splashed S$2million on an 18-course meal on a private jet and this got the attention of the Daily Mail in the UK.
Falling short of calling it a ‘crazy rich Asian’ dinner, the Daily Mail says it is billed as the ‘world’s most exclusive dinner’.
The dinner was hosted at 40,000 feet on board a S$50million Bombardier Global 6000 private jet.
The package was put together by a Russian company, World of Diamonds Group. The paper did not name the couple.

It spans over three days, with a dinner on a private jet, a cruise on a luxury yacht and comes with diamond-encrusted chopsticks.

On its portal, the company calls it ‘The world most expensive dining experience’ that comes with 18 courses, diamond chopsticks and the ‘Jane Seymour’ gift.
The ring is named after British American actress and former Bond girl Jane Seymour.
The blue diamond ring was given to her as a gift in 2016.
It is a rare 2.08-carat Fancy Vivid blue cushion-cut diamond set in a platinum ring and coated with a rose gold finish, according to the company.
The company launched the concept in 2016. At that time it involved a helicopter ride, Rolls-Royce journey and luxury cruise, 10,000 roses, an 18-course dinner and vintage wines – for two people.
Guests get to keep the Jane Seymour ring (gifted to them) and the gold-plated personalized diamond chopsticks.
In 2017, the dining concept was re-launched. Now it takes place during a 4-hour private jet trip with the 18-course cuisine catered from a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Singapore — Blogger Xiaxue, or Wendy Cheng Yan Yan, is one of the most popular online personalities in South-east Asia.
She is known for her beauty tips and has done make-up tutorials on YouTube, including one for those who want to look like film star Angelina Jolie.
On Jan 20, Xiaxue teased her 600,000 followers on Instagram, saying that she had an announcement to make. The next day, she revealed that she was starting a make-up line called Plastic Cosmetics. The blogger has been public about undergoing plastic surgery so it is not surprising that the make-up line has a familiar name.
The first items are the false eyelashes. Regular falsies require glue to be attached to the eyelids. Plastic Cosmetics falsies are attached in a different way. One applies the Plastic Cosmetics eyeliner, waits for it to dry and then attaches the falsies.

It was, however, a bitter-sweet launch. A good friend’s mother passed away around that time. Xiaxue said she would be there for her friend but added that she would send out the Plastic Cosmetics items as soon as possible.

At the age of 50, it may be difficult to land the role of a superhero but Friends alum Jennifer Aniston once, and maybe still, wanted to be Wonder Woman.
There is no stopping this force because she has started the year on a very good note. She has picked up a Screen Actors Guild Award for her work. She is also involved in a streaming project for Apple, and has another film and untitled project work in the works.
Israeli-born Gal Gadot did a good job playing Wonder Woman. From starting out almost a nobody to gaining a large following, Gadot was a fit for the role.
Aniston would like to have a go at it even though she is more known for her comedic roles. She is also able to do drama and action but the opportunity for Wonder Woman just did not come through.
Cinemablend reported this week that Aniston could have become Wonder Woman if the comic book movie genre started off in the 1990s or early 2000s. Only in 2008 did the genre got its start. Although Aniston missed her chance at being a superhero, she is still living the life with The Morning Show and there is talk about a Friends reunion.

Aniston has had a good career in TV roles, movie roles as well as directing and producing. Although she is successful now, it was not always this way.
In an interview with People recently, she said there were a lot of naysayers early in her career. Her own family did not believe she could make it as an actress.
Friends was her breakout role. She played Rachel Green, daughter of a Long Island surgeon. She landed the role at the age of 25 and for 10 seasons, fans cheered, cried and laugh with Rachel.
Friends premiered 25 years ago and it has been 15 years since the final season. Some of the cast members went on to act in other projects but none of them is as beloved as Aniston. Her girl-next-door charm and somewhat disastrous love life make it easier for the man in the street to feel connected to her.
Brad Pitt left Aniston for Angelina Jolie when they co-starred in Mr and Mrs Smith. Aniston’s marriage to Justin Theroux also did not work out and her relationships with John Mayer and Vince Vaughn tanked.
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has threatened to end a pact key to annual war games with American troops if the US does not restore the travel visa of an official who oversaw his drug war.
It is the latest in a long line of Duterte’s threats to shrink or sever ties with historical ally Washington, which have periodically followed criticism of his deadly narcotics crackdown.
Duterte spoke after Ronald Dela Rosa, the former national police chief who is now a senator, said the US had cancelled his visa but did not tell him why.
Dela Rosa was the first enforcer of Duterte’s internationally condemned campaign, in which police say they have killed just over 5,500 alleged dealers and users.
Human rights advocates say the true toll is four times higher, and could amount to crimes against humanity.
The US State Department and the embassy in Manila have not responded to requests for comment about Dela Rosa’s visa.
Duterte went on the attack in a speech late Thursday.
“Now, they won’t let Bato go to America”, he said, using Dela Rosa’s nickname.
“If you do not make a correction there, one, I will terminate the bases — Visiting Forces Agreement,” Duterte added. “I’m giving… the American government one month from now.”
The Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) outlines the rules governing conduct of US troops participating in joint military exercises in the Philippines.
The pact gave legal cover for the resumption of large-scale war games between the two allies after the US military closed its Philippine bases in the 1990s amid rising anti-US sentiment.
Duterte also threatened in 2016 to cancel the agreement, but has generally attacked ties with the US, including an announced “separation” from its former colonial master.
Until now the president has not made good on those threats, some of which came after then US president Barack Obama was critical of Duterte’s crackdown in 2016.
Relations between Washington and Manila under President Donald Trump, who has voiced support for Duterte, are on a stronger footing.
However, recent criticism from US lawmakers has introduced new tensions.
The Philippines in December barred US senators Richard Durbin and Patrick Leahy, who were behind a measure to prevent officials involved in the incarceration of Senator Leila de Lima from entering the US.
De Lima, one of the highest-profile critics of Duterte’s narcotics crackdown, has been held since February 2017 over a drug charge that she claims was fabricated to silence her.

China on Friday added four more cities to a transport ban around the epicentre of a deadly virus, restricting the movement of some 41 million people in 13 cities as authorities scramble to control the disease.
Officials in Xianning, Xiaogan, Enshi and Zhijiang cities — all located in central Hubei province where the virus first emerged — said public transport services including buses and train stations would be closed.
The cities are the latest in Hubei to impose travel restrictions over the previous 24 hours in a bid to curb the spread of the new coronavirus which has infected more than 800 people.
The virus first emerged from the city of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, where a seafood and live animal market has been identified as the centre of the outbreak.
It has killed 26 people so far, and has caused alarm because of its similarity to SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome).
SARS killed nearly 650 people across mainland China and Hong Kong in 2002-2003.
Zhijiang, a city of 550,000, announced the closure of all businesses with exceptions like pharmacies, while Enshi, with a population of 800,000, has shut all entertainment venues.
Earlier on Friday Jingzhou city, with a population of 6.4 million, said all services departing from its railway station will be suspended.
Huangshi, which has a population of 2.4 million, shut transport routes Friday as well as closing a ferry terminal and bridge over the Yangtze River and suspending public transport.
The move followed the suspension of long-distance passenger buses, tourist coaches and public transport from Thursday night in Qianjiang, a city in central Hubei with nearly a million people.
Trains and planes were halted from leaving Wuhan on Thursday as the city was placed under effective lockdown. Passenger boats and buses were also forbidden from entering the city.
The virus has hit China in the midst of its Lunar New Year holiday, typically marked by family gatherings and public celebrations.
Other cities to impose travel restrictions include Xiantao, a city of 1.5 million, and Chibi, which has some 500,000 people, which closed toll station entrances and halted transport routes.
The cities of Ezhou, Huanggang and Lichuan also introduced measures.
Authorities in Hubei also said they were calling off cultural performances at public venues.
Taxi services also will be restricted and travel agencies in the province have suspended business activities and are no longer organising tour groups, authorities said in an announcement on Friday.
