Severely ill woman appeals for financial help from community worker

Community Worker Gilbert Goh posted a video of a 50-year-old woman in his Facebook, describing her as a severely ill parent who needs help. He said that she suffers from acute athritis.

The woman lives in a rental flat with two children. Her 20-year-old daughter is not able to work because she is the main caregiver for her mother as well as her 10-year-old school-going brother.

The woman said that parts of her toes dropped off due to an illness. Her thumb is also bent backwards. The woman is in severe financial difficulties because the money her husband earns is insufficient for the family, and has appealed for financial assistance from Mr Goh’s team of community workers.

Mr Goh said that all monies raised will go directly towards the benefit of the woman’s family. Anyone interested to contribute may contact Mr Goh directly at [email protected], or through his Facebook.
