30-year-old jumbo flat in Yishun brings million-dollar bonanza for sellers

A Housing Board jumbo flat in Yishun has sold for more than S$1 million, a first for this HDB town in northern Singapore.

Price tags in the multiple millions for private properties in the most desirable areas, which real estate  agents still refer to as Districts 9, 10 and 11, according to their old postal codes, are commonplace.

“I f**king hate the malay community (no offence)” — Business owner of Inara Organics says

Founder of Inara Organics Nina Chua was called out on social media by a Miss Singapore 2018 Finalist for racist comments she made as, “I f**king hate the malay community (no offence)”.

In a series of Instagram stories on Thursday (March 10) and Friday (March 11), Ms Hani Nami shared a screenshot of Nina saying “I f*cking hate the malay community (no offence)”. She also shared messages with others calling out Nina’s racist behaviour.

Ex-Certis Cisco officer fires gun in HarbourFront Centre toilet for no reason

A former Certis CISCO auxiliary police officer was in a toilet cubicle in HarbourFront Centre when he fired one round from his revolver for no apparent reason.

Goh Ze Lin, 37, pleaded guilty on Friday (March 11) to one charge of committing a rash act that endangered human life. He was equipped with a Taurus 85 revolver loaded with five 0.38-inch bullets for his duties. He also had five spare rounds in a speed loader.

Was ESM Goh making a veiled comment about succession when he said he and Low Thia Khiang basked in Lee Kuan Yew’s glory?

Retired Members of Parliament (MPs) Low Thia Khiang and Goh Chok Tong met at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy on Thursday (March 10).

In a Facebook post, former Emeritus Senior Minister Goh wrote that he and former Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party Low Thia Khiang “Chatted happily as you would expect of two retired MPs”.
