Survey: Most Singaporeans, Indonesians & Filipinos concerned over impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

A recent survey finds that many Singaporeans, Indonesians, and Filipinos are concerned about the war in Ukraine; an event that is physically thousands of kilometres away, but practically, having a significant impact on their everyday life.

The results from a survey of 1,000 people from Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, which was conducted in March by Milieu Insight, a Singapore-based consumer research and analytics company. It released the results on Monday (Mar 28).

Singtel subsidiary NCS acquires 4th Aussie tech company in 15 months

A SingTel subsidiary, NCS,  announced on Monday (Mar 28) that it is acquiring Australia’s ARQ Group (ARQ) for A$290 million (SGD 296 million).

This is the NCS Group’s fourth tech investment in the past 15 months and . It forms part of its thrust to transform the company into a “regional IT and digital powerhouse” in Singapore and Australia.

Jail time for man who filmed his women friends in toilets

A man who captured footage of several of his women friends using the toilet was given a jail sentence of nine months on Tuesday (Mar 29).

His identity, as well as that of his victims and other details of his offences, are protected by a gag order from the court.

VIRAL: Violent mall brawl between 2 Filipinas

A short video of two women kicking, pulling each others’ hair and wrestling on the floor of what appears to be a mall has gone viral, getting thousands of views since it was posted on Tuesday night (Mar 29).

A man is seen stepping in at the end of the 23-second video in an effort to get the women to stop brawling.
