Singapore — An otter pup was badly hurt after a fight between its parents and a separate group of three adults, and needed emergency surgery. Sadly, it didn’t survive.

Some Singaporeans, who aren’t exactly enamoured of these aquatic natives, might well say “So what? What’s the big deal?”

Singapore — Some days, you see things that make you scratch your head and say, “Ok, so what was THAT?“

A “fight” that broke out between two older men at Telok Blangah Rise Market on Sunday night (Nov 14) must have been one of those times, as it was unclear if the two uncles were really arguing, rehearsing for something, dancing, or practising some martial arts moves.

Bogus delivery order for a whole roast pig likely bid by loan shark to harass borrower

Singapore — A loan shark is thought to be behind the latest case of harassment. The man placed an order for a whole roast pig to be delivered to an address in a Tampines HDB estate.

Mr Hu Shi Ming, 58, who owns a roast meat business took the order on Tuesday at around 5 pm from a man who gave his name as Li, reports the Chinese-language newspaper Shin Min Daily News.

Classic example of road hogger on expressway, hits brakes to cause obstruction & frustration

Singapore — A vehicle caught on camera going rather slowly on an expressway lane and suddenly tapping on the brakes despite the fact the road was clear up ahead has sparked another wave of criticisms from members of the public.

On Wednesday (Nov 17), Facebook page ROADS.sg uploaded a video of the incident showcasing a “classic example of a road hogger.”

Crowd of photographers spotted taking photo of… a tree?

Singapore — A video of photographers and their fancy telephoto lenses surrounding what appears to be a tree is circulating online. It turns out that they were trying to capture behind camera a rare migratory bird.

“Guess who’s photos they taking? Wrong answers only,” wrote Instagram page sgfollowsall on Thursday (Nov 18).
