Who won The Beast Burger Challenge? Not a beast but a beauty.
She attempted the feat at The Beast Burger, an American restaurant located along Jalan Klapa in Singapore, and wolfed down a 3.2kg burger in just 43 minutes. She is now record holder of the food challenge in the woman’s category.
The record for man is held by Zermatt Neo, a personal trainer and competitive eater. He accomplished the challenge in a record time of 33 minutes.
The challenge requires one to finish a around 3.2kg burger consisting of slaw, pork, and fried chicken atop a generous beef patty, in between two buttery hot buns and sweet potato fries.
The petite-looking woman, Thomasina Owch, is only the second person in Singapore to complete the challenge.
“When everyone thought that only guys can do it, she just put a lot guys to shame,” said Food League Singapore.
