Elderly woman’s phone, ID & ATM card stolen while feeding community cats

Singapore — A woman’s phone, identification cards and ATM card were allegedly stolen while she was feeding the community cats along Mei Ling Street in Queenstown.

An appeal was made online through the Cats of MeilingSt Facebook page, urging all community cat feeders and rescuers to keep a closer watch over personal belongings after an incident on Wednesday (Nov 3).


NSF secretly films sex sessions with teens, gets 21 months’ probation

Singapore — A 20-year-old man who uploaded videos of sexual acts he had with one 19-year-old and another 17-year-old female was given 21 months of probation and 60 hours of community service on Monday (Nov 8).

The man has remained unnamed to protect the identity of his victims.

Man, 47, dies in drowning accident while gathering his fishing gear at East Coast Park

Singapore — A 47-year-old man accidentally drowned when he was swept out to sea on Saturday (Nov 6). 

Despite valiant efforts to save the man by three other individuals who were fishing at that time, the man could not be resuscitated when he was brought to the shore at East Coast Park, near Enak Enak HongKong Tea House.

Group ‘Healing the Divide’ called out by MOH for COVID falsehoods and misleading information

Singapore — On Sunday (Nov 7), the Ministry of Health issued a statement noting that content from a group called “Healing the Divide” had been removed from YouTube.

MOH wrote that the group, which was founded by a woman named Iris Koh, “adopts an anti-vaccination stance and claims to warn people about the dangers of vaccination.”

Donnie Yen wraps up filming for John Wick 4

After four months of filming for John Wick 4 at location shoots in Paris, Japan, Berlin and New York, martial arts legend, Donnie Yen, 58, is finally ready to go home.

The star shared a video of his Hollywood journey on Instagram and described the filming as a “super fun and creative” experience. He hugged co-star Keanu Reeves on set and told him “I love you guys too…but I gotta go home~”! Reeves then replied cheekily, “Sure! Go home!”
