Bangkok – A Shanghai-bound flight from Bangkok was delayed half an hour due to a mum who was waiting for her daughter to finish shopping at the duty-free zone.

On May 15 (Wednesday), China’s Spring Airlines flight 9C8892 from Suvarnabhumi to Shanghai was delayed 30 minutes because of a mother who took to lying down on the aerobridge that connects the plane to the airport terminal, preventing the plane from taking off.

According to a report by Bangkok Post, the mother was allegedly trying to buy time for her daughter, who was still shopping inside the airport.
