Singapore — Health Minister Ong Ye Kung set a significant pandemic marker when he flew to Hong Kong to attend the inaugural Asia Summit on Global Health.
He is the first minister from a foreign government to have set foot in Hong Kong since the pandemic began. He said in a social media post on Wednesday (Nov 24), the day that the summit was held, that he was glad to be able to participate along with senior health officials from the region, including Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam.

Singapore — Thousands of digital banking clients of DBS Bank and POSB have been left disgruntled and frustrated so far this week over the failure of their digibanking services as it extended into the third day.
Singapore’s largest bank DBS, which also owns POSB, had been vigorously campaigning to get customers to convert to digibanking. This latest stumble could well slow the impetus of its aggressive digital evangelism.

Singapore — On & On Diners Pte Ltd is being investigated by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) for two instances of gastroenteritis that affected 73 people between 16 and 18 November 2021.
On & On Diners located at FoodXchange @ Admiralty, 8A Admiralty Street has been made to cease its operations by the SFA until further notice.
