Singapore — 33-year-old co-founder of Night Owl Cinematics (NOC) speaks to blogger Xiaxue in a tell-all interview about her marriage, company, and circle of frenemies.

Here are some of the juicy bits, so you don’t have to watch the entire thing.

During the one-hour-forty-seven-minute-long video, Xiaxue takes viewers through roles in NOC, the shareholdings, and quite a bit of dirt on co-founder Ryan Tan.

The Company

Sylvia told Xiaxue that the entire fight between her and Ryan started because the latter wanted an exit from NOC. She claimed that he wanted to be bought out at a very high price, in the millions. However, Sylvia added that the company cannot survive or continue to run if it pays this price. She says that halfway through the fight, the drama happened.

According to her, everybody knows Ryan claims to have resigned as NOC’s director, but he still holds the role. She shared email screenshots of Ryan requesting via email to backdate his resignation to May. Sylvia explained that if NOC agreed to the backdating, he would not have breached director duties because of his company called Reno King.

Their marriage

Not holding back, Sylvia tells Xiaxue that she and Ryan never had a happy marriage, except for the start.

“We never had a happy marriage because he has had something to do with the girls in NOC,” Sylvia said. “That’s why I’ve always kept my silence because I’m going to implicate the whole world.”

She also added that Ryan had a lot of “best friends” in the company throughout the years, adding that he favoured these female talents both on and off set, even telling her off in front of others once because she was harsh with a talent.

“I just tolerated all of this because I’m very proud that we were the ‘golden couple’,” she explains. Sylvia even shares that when she asked him to come clean with her before they parted ways, Ryan admitted that he had “a crush on a few girls”.

She added that Ryan allegedly cheated on her one to two years into the marriage, when he had a restaurant before NOC, and had an affair with a waitress. All this was while Sylvia was helping out at the restaurant for free, she said.

Sylvia noted that Ryan was allegedly always sending the waitress home, or giving her rides elsewhere. She claimed that this was Ryan’s behaviour pattern, where he would often send talents home at night and would get upset at her if she wanted to come along on these drives.

Sylvia’s alleged sex video on Twitter

When asked about it, Sylvia tells Xiaxue that she watched it on repeat 10 times, questioning if it was her. She added that she knows that she has never done this, but thought that the girl in the video looked like her and sounded like her. Sylvia also joked that she confirmed it was not her when someone pointed out that Sylvia and the girl had different chest sizes.

Does Sylvia think Ryan is behind the online attacks and leaked screenshots?

Sylvia did not answer this directly, but she did add that Ryan has a lot to gain from her being cancelled. She said that if NOC is in trouble, and stock values plummet, while the saga completely ruins Sylvia’s reputation as talent and CEO, Ryan will be able to buy her out at half price. As he gains support online, she claims that he would then be able to build back the company, all while keeping his own company, Reno King.

While some netizens unexpectedly expressed support for Ms Chan, there were also those who pointed out the issue that started the whole NOC Saga—Ms Chan’s alleged mistreatment of people who worked there, was not addressed.

So what and who do you believe?
