SINGAPORE: A man took to social media to post photos of a note left on the windshield of an orange car that was parked on the painted line of an indoor parking spot instead of within the lines.

The person who left the note put a phone number on it, in case the driver of the car needed some lessons.

A Mr Bryan Leong wrote in a Wednesday night (July 19) post on the COMPLAINT SINGAPORE Facebook page, “I hope the driver can contact the number if he need(s) assist(ance with) parking.”

The note reads, “If you don’t know how to park, you can call me 84846369, to park for you.”

Ouch.

The Independent Singapore has reached out to Mr Leong for further comment or updates.

One commenter suggested, however, that the problem may lie with the parking slot itself.

But another wrote that the phone number on the note left by the person belongs to “most likely…the person he hate(s) most.”

This is not the first time this year a note has been left on the windshield of a car.

In May, a Mercedes-Benz owner got a note that read “STUPID DRIVER” after the car was parked in a motorcycle slot, causing one netizen to comment, “This shows money can not buy intelligence nor common sense!”

But in 2020, a social media post went viral after a car owner praised a driver who left a note admitting he caused a dent on the car.

Not only did the driver admit that he had bumped the car while it was parked, but he also left contact information so that he could pay for the repairs.
