Singapore — Some days, you see things that make you scratch your head and say, “Ok, so what was THAT?“

A “fight” that broke out between two older men at Telok Blangah Rise Market on Sunday night (Nov 14) must have been one of those times, as it was unclear if the two uncles were really arguing, rehearsing for something, dancing, or practising some martial arts moves.

The incident, which occurred at around 8:50 pm, was captured on film by a netizen, who sent it to crowdsourced news site STOMP.

The sender speculated that “Jackie Chan and Wong Fei-Hung” may have had “too many drinks.”

The two uncles, one in a red shirt and another in a yellow one, certainly seem to be arguing, as their raised voices can be heard.

But then the uncle in red performs some moves that seem more dance-like than as if he were ready for fisticuffs.

He can be seen waving his arms gracefully, if a bit threateningly, toward the other uncle, but did not appear to land a blow.

And then, bizarrely, he starts wiggling his hips while advancing toward the yellow-clad uncle.

At this point, some onlookers walk away, as if in understanding that there are no serious threats of harm to each other.

The uncle in red actually turns back and walks away from the other older man, only to turn to him again, saying something indistinguishable.

Then he does his hip-shaking moves yet again.

“They settled the dispute after the dance,” wrote the Stomper who sent the video in.

AsiaOne set the “fight,” or whatever that was, to music, for even greater effect.

Netizens, amused by the uncles’ antics, poked fun at the two.
