Hong Kong — HK star Julian Cheung, who goes by the stage name Chilam Cheung, has been appearing in popular variety shows such as Viva La Romance 2 and Call Me By Fire, which have elevated his popularity in the Greater China Region.

His relationship with his wife Anita Yuen is often the dream content for reality shows because of the playful yet authentic nature. Chilam Cheung shared about his marriage dynamics with hosts Margie Tsang, Cutie Mui and Elvina Kong on an episode of the talk show Three Sisters.

It appears that his cousin Anna Ueyama was very close to the trio, so Chilam Cheung also became good friends with them. When he was growing up, he was a big fan of Margie while watching her dramas, “At the time, I felt you were amazingly beautiful!”

As Chilam Cheung is known to be a family man, the topic eventually turned to his marriage. He has been with Anita for nearly 30 years, and it is amazing how affectionate they are towards each other.

The celebrity couple enjoys teasing each other with snide remarks, and it keeps their relationship fresh. Anita once complimented Julian for not having a bad temper, but he revealed that they have conflicts every day, reported Jayne Stars.

“I don’t throw a fit at anyone, but only with her. Sometimes I feel that she is making a scene out of nothing, but I don’t yell back,” said Julian Cheung.

When asked if he would change anything about his wife, he responded, “Don’t change me, and I don’t want to change you either. Just the way you are is the best.”

Chilam Cheung is known to be an easygoing father, and he treats his teenage son Morton like a friend so that they can have open conversations. As for dating advice, he said, “I told him to experiment as much as possible, so that he knows how to treat other people well. Of course, he needs to take safety precautions and be a good gentleman.” /TISG
