Istana Woodneuk now off-limits – Police arrested trespassers

Istana Woodneuk one of the two royal palaces owned by the “Father of Modern Johor”, Johor Sultan Abu Bakar ibni Daing Ibrahim (1833-1895), is now off-limits.
Police have arrested trespassers said one Twitter user:


The palace which is not chartered in any map, is located on a small hill bounded by present-day Holland Road and Tyersall Road.

The royal palace is now in ruins and the surroundings are covered by thick vegetation due to decades of abandonment.
