Zoe Tay & Zhang Ze Tong felt ‘really nervous’ to perform for President’s Star Charity

Singapore ― Mediacorp artistes Zoe Tay and Zhang Ze Tong have been toiling away in a dance studio every weekend for the past few weeks so that they can be at their best on Sunday (Oct 10).

The duo performed onstage for the President’s Star Charity 2021 (PSC). Tay and Zhang collaborated with trained dancers and two persons with disabilities, including para-athlete Jeremiah Liauw.

China, the ‘elephant in the room’ of SG’s cyberespionage fears?

Singapore — The hotly debated foreign interference law last week left many speculating as to just where exactly fears of cyberespionage are coming from.

Shortly before midnight last Monday (Oct 4), the Foreign Interference Countermeasures Act (FICA) passed, with a “yes” vote from 75 Members of Parliament. 

However, 11 MPs from the Workers’ Party and Progress Singapore Party objected to the passing of the bill, and two Nominated MPs abstained from the vote.

“I’m the worst in F4” says member Ken Chu

Taiwan ― Back in the day, Meteor Garden was a very popular hit series featuring four good-looking guys. F4 consisted of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu and Vic Chou. F4 was not just limited to the drama, and the four of them formed a Taiwanese boy band named F4.

Most of them are still going strong even though some of them may have faded from the minds of their fans. It seems that not all the members have managed to stay relevant.

WP comes to aid of low-income families under quarantine running out of food supplies

Singapore — Several low-income families at Kaki Bukit who were under quarantine faced an emergency when they found that their food supplies were running low. 

Fortunately, when they reached out to their Member of Parliament, the Workers’ Party’s Muhamad Faisal Bin Abdul Manap, emergency aid was quickly given.
