Singapore — If the National University of Singapore (NUS) is an English-speaking university, does it seem unjust that canteen employees who do not speak English are permitted to work on their premises?
While studying at NUS, a student was annoyed by the fact that the canteen aunties and uncles could not speak English.

Singapore — A couple, Wan Farah Shireen Abu Hassan, 33, and her then-boyfriend Aloysius Hoe Wei Peng, 40 attacked a GrabFood delivery rider in Punggol on Feb 3, 2020, at around 7:30 pm.
The rider, Daniel Seah, 31, had cut in between the two as they were walking on the link bridge at Waterway Point.

Singapore — Further easing of social measures and the opening of new vaccinated travel lanes (VTLs) will be halted while border controls tighten as Singapore monitors news of Omicron, the latest Covid-19 variant of concern.
No cases of Omicron have yet been detected in Singapore, said the Health Ministry (MOH) as it set up pre-emptive measures to reduce the risk of importing and spreading the variant.
