Sad news for Singaporeans. Pokemon Go releases it’s game according to a country’s press freedom index. Which is why it isn’t to be releasing to and S.E.A countries anytime soon.
To make things worst Singapore ranks 154 in global press freedom (https://rsf.org/en/ranking). Meaning that even if Pokemon Go DID come out in S.E.A it would take Singapore awhile to get it.
In the latest press release Niantic, Inc. said

” We also want to reward the countries that would have made such innovation possible, therefore we will be doing future releases according to the press freedom index by RWB.”
So there you go guys Singapore has a long way to go.
