Commuters drenched by leaking roof in MRT

Shin Min Daily News reported that a train on the East-West Line was hit by a water leak on Monday (July 18) at about 6.20pm, during the evening rush hour. It said that a commuter travelling from Clementi to Outram Park posted the video online. The video shows water pouring from the roof of the train.

The newspaper reported the commuter as saying that the leak was from the air-con vent and that it lasted throughout his journey. The commuter further said that many commuters were drenched.
