One netizen, Aron Goh, took to Facebook to caution everyone else to check their Singapore Power (SP) utilities bill. He found out that he was overcharged $1,500 after noticing a negative amount on his monthly bill.
Aron then logged on to SP’s chat support to find out why there was a discrepancy in the bill.
Much to his surprise, the support staff said, “The water was overestimated previously. We did took the meter reading in Aug for adjustment”.
To that, Aron asked, “that’s over estimation of $1522.36?”
He continued, “over thousand five hundred?”
Pls check your SP svc bill. Do your own meter reading to prevent overcharge. Honest old folks deem SP will be honest….

But however bill from march onwards til july are estimated reading charges. In shock when new aug bill arrived with negative in thousand. Blood suckers.”
He also added, “Btw SP app disabled screen shot capturing. Nice move..”
