Ex-MP Lee Li Lian wants to teach you how to turn a 'no' to a 'yes'

If you were wondering what former Member of Parliament, Lee Li Lian, has been doing since the last election, she reveals in an Instagram post about one of the things she has been doing since that time – writing a book titled, ‘POWER Phrases for Insurance Sales’.
It is “one of the things I’ve always wanted to do,” she said. “The idea for this book was conceived a few years ago and to see it finally happen is unbelievable,” she added.
Ms Lee dedicated the book to the insurance agents she had trained and crossed paths with and to her colleagues at Great Eastern Life Singapore.
The book seeks to teach insurance agents the secret to turning a “NO” to a “YES”. And that may be as simple as using the right phrase at the right place and time, the author said.
There are 100 of such phrases that are “proven to trigger emotions and to boost your credibility,” the author added.
