Shopee’s delivery staff caught throwing parcels on netizen’s front yard

Herman Chua, a netizen, voiced out his frustration on the Facebook group, Complaint Singapore regarding Shopee delivery staff throwing his parcels inside his front yard.

Mr Chua in his post said that this had been the eighth time this has happened. He said, “I have obtained dumping, throwing and disgusting and unacceptable delivery from Shopee.”

Pritam Singh: Price increases already happening, and the low-income, middle-income and retiree households will be hit the hardest

Leader of the Opposition and Workers’ Party (WP) Chief Pritam Singh wrote in a social media post on Thursday (Mar 3) about how prices have already begun to increase despite the GST hike only scheduled for next year.

In a Facebook post, Mr Singh shared a photo of an announcement at a food stall that read: “Dear Customers due to inflation, from 4 Feb 22, we will increase all items by $0.50”. The announcement read that a takeaway container would also cost S$0.30 more.

Man quits accounting job, earns more doing GrabFood and no need to pay CPF

A member of the public took to social media to share how he quit his accounting job to work as a food delivery personnel. He noted he earns more now, among other perks.

GrabFood Delivery Rider Singapore Facebook group member said in a post on Saturday (March 5) that he quit his office job to work for GrabFood and is now taking home S$3,000 a month at least.
