Woman taken to hospital after Ferrari crashes into Toyota

A 29-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after an accident involving three cars – one of which is a red Ferrari.

The accident occurred at the junction of Bayfront Avenue and Sheares Link on Thursday (September 26) afternoon.

In the video circulating on social media, a red Ferrari can be seen speeding and crashing into the back of a white MPV while trying to avoid a Toyota Altis that made a wide left turn onto Bayfront Avenue.

While turning left, the Toyota Altis turned into the third lane. After completing its u-turn, the Toyota drove off.

In response to media queries, the police said they were alerted about the accident at around 2.07pm. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Stomp they responded to the accident at about 2.10pm.

According to a police spokesperson, “One of the car drivers, a 29-year-old woman, was conscious when conveyed to Raffles Hospital”.

Police investigations are ongoing.
