SINGAPORE: In a disturbing incident that unfolded in the early hours of Monday (May 26), a young woman was spotted walking precariously along a road divider on Simon Road, alarming both motorists and pedestrians.

The episode occurred at around 1:40 a.m., according to an eyewitness who spoke to Stomp. The witness described the woman as appearing disoriented and behaving erratically, deliberately stepping toward oncoming traffic.

“She was walking along the divider and trying to jump onto the road when vehicles approached,” the eyewitness recounted, “We suspected she was either trying to stage a fake accident or attempting suicide.”

The witness added that a man was nearby and “was talking on the phone and walked past the woman, likely updating someone about what was happening.”
