A video showing an unsupervised toddler dashing in front of oncoming traffic has been trending online. The incident reportedly occurred Woodlands Ave 1 and the video capturing the incident was uploaded on Facebook this afternoon.

The video, footage from a dashboard camera from a car nearby, captures the barefoot child wearing only diapers dashing across the road towards a car that is about to move forward. As the child runs across the road, the woman in the car recording the incident can be heard exclaiming in shock as several honks are sounded to alert other motorists about the child.

The toddler is just barely saved by a kind stranger who scoops the child up before it reaches the vehicle. The stranger can be seen pulling the toddler to the sidewalk before looking around to see where the parents of guardians of the child might be.

Tracy Ong, the lady who shared the video online, wrote: “Toddler, no shoes, only diapers, unsupervised, dashing across the road. When I stopped at junction, I only saw the kid alone pressing the pedestrian light. I felt something was wrong. The driver beside me and I sounded our horn to warn other road users. Thank goodness a Chinese man grab the kid into safety.”
