“Wake up
go to work
have lunch alone
go home after work
short run around the estate
have dinner alone
netflix
sleep
Repeat 5 days wait for weekend” – This is the routine that a netizen admitted to having.

In an anonymous post to popular confessions page SGWhispers, the netizen wrote that they mainly watch shows, exercise, do chores and have meals alone.

“Sometimes I just want to be around people I will dine in a restaurant or food court”, the netizen wrote, without revealing their gender.

Adding that they earn about $8,000 or $9,000 a month, they added that they were fairly comfortable and did not have to live paycheck to paycheck. “I live alone. I’m an orphan so I do not have relatives either. I have friends but none are close. I leave most of the group chats unread. I do join some cycle groups as its safer to cycle in groups. Sometimes I leave the tv on just so I don’t sleep in silence”, they wrote.

“Sometimes I wonder if I leave this earth, how long will it take for anyone to find out that I’m gone?” the netizen wrote.

They added that they were “too messed up” to want to invite another person to be with them.

“Besides, I enjoy being single. I can sleep when I want. I can do what I want. I don’t need to feel responsible for another being. Sometimes when I feel the need to be around humans, i just bring my laptop and headphones, buy a cup of coffee and sit by the cafe for hours”.

Concluding their post, the netizen asked others if their behaviour and lifestyle were normal. Out of the comments, many felt that they could relate to it.
