A woman scantily dressed in lingerie was seen dirty dancing in front of seniors in a veterans’ home for Mid-Autumn celebrations.

The video has since gone viral online, with netizens criticising the home’s management for allowing such behaviour.

Man takes up two seats using plastic bag in crowded bus; passenger refrains from asking due to risk of being punched or cursed

A passenger who saw a man taking up two seats on a bus refrained from asking if she can take the other seat, as she didn’t want to risk getting hurt or verbally abused.

“MRT train have such people, so are buses,” wrote a Facebook page Complaint Singapore member on Sunday (Sept 11).

Paul Tambyah: Singapore must ensure best scientific approach if there is another flu pandemic

Speaking at the Singapore Red Cross’ 7th Humanitarian Conference on Saturday at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center, Singapore Democratic Party’s chairman Dr Paul Tambyah shared how Singapore can best approach the situation should there be another flu pandemic in the future.

“We need to examine our practices and ensure that they are based on the best scientific evidence. We can look for trends. We can investigate each case to see if there was some contamination problem.” said Dr Tambyah.

He Ting Ru greeted Queen Elizabeth during Her Majesty’s visit to Singapore in 1989

While the world is still mourning the passing of Queen Elizabeth, it brings back fond memories for Workers’ Party Member of Parliament He Ting Ru as she was fortunate to meet Her Majesty during her visit to Singapore in 1989.

Back then it was the late Queen’s second visit to the Republic, the first being in 1972, and the third and final visit in 2006. In 1989, the Queen visited Ang Mo Kio, Tanjong Pagar and the Kranji War Memorial in Singapore.
