Kuala Lumpur — Just like anyone out there, more and more celebrities have found themselves being targeted for cyber-hacking.

After Nabila Razali and Wafiy Ilhan, Malaysian songstress Ning Baizura took to her Instagram to personally share with her fans and followers that she has decided to close her Facebook pages. The reason is that both her social media accounts had been hacked recently, as reported by Hype.my.

“As of now, I have closed and deleted my Facebook account! Today is a sad day. I have to close my private account and also my fan page. This is a tough decision to make, but I had too. Been hacked on and off for almost a week. They uploaded nudity posts and videos, including on IG Stories again today. Please unfollow and report the page,” the “Selagi Ada Cinta” songbird wrote on her IG, @ningdalton.

Ning added, “Bye-bye FB. Will keep you guys posted on my next move here (on Instagram). I guess I needed to remove all the bad toxic energy and move on. I believe there’s always a blessing in disguise. InsyaAllah, God loves me and He will guide me to a better journey. Thank you guys for your love, support, and never-ending positivity.”

The issue even caught the attention of tons of Ning’s loyal followers on social media. Some of the comments include:

  • “Now I know why. I was shocked after coming across the (lewd) clips.”
  • “I unfollowed your FB the moment I saw the pornographic photos on your FB Stories. I knew it, your Facebook account might have been hacked.”
  • “My mom followed you on Facebook. Just moments ago she asked me, ‘Why did Ning share such crude photos online?’ Then I informed her that your social media page has been hacked.”
  • “Oh no, I know the feeling! It’s okay, just enjoy your detox moment. ;)”

It was also reported that Ning Baizura’s Facebook account was previously hacked back on Sept 18. Nevertheless, the singer managed to retrieve the account back 13 hours later./TISG
