Hailey Bieber responds to Swiftie backlash

Hailey Bieber recently posted a video of Justin Bieber ‘mocking’ Taylor Swift and it led to Swifties being angry with her.

It all happened after Bieber posted an Instagram Live, in which Bieber is seen briefly recreating Swift’s (amazing) post-Lasik surgery banana video.

In the original clip which was shared during her guest appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Swift — high on painkillers — can be seen crying over a banana and attempting to eat it in bed.

However, seeing as how Bieber previously sided with his manager Scooter Braun in the midst of his feud with Swift over her masters, Swifties weren’t too pleased with the video. And, naturally, they took their displeasure to Twitter.

“I never knew I could make somebody so upset,” she wrote. “Truly I’m so sorry you’re THIS upset?! Lord have mercy I hope I’m never this upset about someone I don’t know!!”

Bieber then proceeded to follow-up by writing, “I think it’s awesome how passionate you are and how hard you ride for someone you’re a fan of, it’s beautiful how dedicated you are,” before adding that she was “sorry, [because] it’s not my intention to upset you by any means.”

However, she also added that “being angry at someone you don’t know does nothing for you. I know cause I ‘been’ there.”

“All it’s gonna do is make you miserable. Don’t let ME of all people get you feeling that way,” she said, before concluding. “Trust me, I’m not worth the energy, nobody should be worth that energy!”
