One customer was very unhappy with the service of i.Fish at Kopitiam, Singapore General Hospital — claimed that a female attendant had seen three customers, including the unhappy customer herself, lining up for ten minutes, but did not tell them the stall was closed.
The attendant refused to serve those in the queue and merely ignored their questions.
A Ms Yulia Anakova wrote, that the attendant does not speak English, and it took another stall owner to explain that the stall was already closed, despite there being a lot of food left in the display cases.
“Yet there is so much food wasted. All that food in display,” she wrote.
Ms Anakova explained that she and two others had stood in line from 8:20 to 8:32 pm, only to be ignored by the attendant.
“Really poor ethics. I just wanted a meal after spending the last 6 hours with my critically ill mother. I understand if we came after they closed.
At least tell us they are closing and won’t serve us. Not make us stand in queue for over 10mins only to quietly ignore us when we ask whether to order. Ridiculous!,” she added.
Netizens agreed with Ms Anakova, writing that the service had been very poor indeed.
They also wished her mum a speedy recovery.
Others wondered what would become of the leftover food.
One wrote that SGH could step in and take action.
