US President Donald Trump has trolled his predecessor Barack Obama with a new video poking fun at Obama’s prediction that some jobs are not going to come back to America.

In a new video he posted on Twitter last night, President Trump celebrated the booming US economy which has hit an almost 50-year low in workers’ unemployment benefit filings, a strong 4.2 per cent GDP (gross domestic product) between Apr and Jun this year, and record-low unemployment rates for minority groups.

According to the Daily Wire, “The national unemployment rate has dropped to just 3.9%, per the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In July, unemployment for Hispanics hit a new record low at 4.5% and Black unemployment hit 5.9% in May, the lowest it’s been since 1972.”

In his latest video, President Trump trolled Obama by featuring a clip of Obama blasting him for promising to bring back jobs that just won’t “come back,” during the 2016 campaign trail.

Obama had said then: “Some of those jobs from the past are just not gonna come back. And when somebody says, ‘He’s gonna bring all these jobs back,’ well how exactly are you gonna do that? What are you gonna do? What magic wand do you have?”

The video then cuts to President Trump reading from a report that shows he has brought back over 400,000 manufacturing jobs and created a total of 4 million jobs since the election: “Wages are growing at the fastest pace in nearly a decade. More Americans are employed than ever before in the recorded history of our country.”

On Twitter, the President cheekily captioned his post, “JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!”
