SINGAPORE: A video of an altercation between the driver of a car and a motorcyclist was posted on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook and YouTube pages on Monday (April 1).

In it, the irate motorcyclist confronted the driver, saying that he is from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Military Police Command and had the authority to impound the vehicle of the driver.

The Singapore Army acknowledged the incident the following day via social media, and on Wednesday (Apr 3), it was reported in TODAY that SAF has filed a police report against the motorcyclist.

The incident is said to have occurred on Thursday last week (Mar 28) at the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE).

The dash cam video shows the motorcyclist stopping in front of the vehicle, while the driver of the car can be heard asking him why he pointed his middle finger at him.

In its post, SAF wrote that upon conducting preliminary investigations, it found that the motorcyclist is an Operationally-Ready National Serviceman who is not, however, with the SAF Military Police Command. Neither was he under In-Camp-Training (ICT) at the time of the incident.
