Singapore — Seven months after giving birth to an adorable baby girl, Canadian-American Mix Martial Artist Angela Lee, proudly flexed her mom body built achieved on Friday (Nov 19) via her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

In her recent photos, the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion does not look like she gave birth with her new body. She was so proud of herself and felt motivated to workout harder, maintaining a well and physically fit body.

“Today was a momentous day for me! I am so happy with the progress I’ve made and how far I’ve come… #7monthspostpartum and I am officially lighter than I was pre-pregnancy when I was prepping for a fight!” she said in her post.

“The summer of 2020, I remember wanting to take my nutrition seriously and I started working with @savaniimal. Over the course of 7 weeks, we got my walking weight from 135lbs to 127/126lbs. Savannah taught me the basics of macronutrients and it really helped me when I tracked my food. Week 8/9 came around and on August 16, 2020 I found out I was pregnant!,” she added.

According to the MMA fighter, on Nov 18, she checked her weight early in the morning and saw that she weighed 125.4 pounds (56.9 kg). She also feels to achieve this kind of weight instantly, there were some things she needed to consider such as taking good care of her baby, Ava Marie Pucci, which boosted up her metabolism since she has been eating healthier and cleaner food to support her growth.

She also said that she has been eating cleaner and avoiding red meat and fast food since she got pregnant. Furthermore, she explained that she would try to eat it, but her body and the baby inside her rejected it, which that practice carried throughout her pregnancy and into motherhood.

The 25-year-old MMA fighter also stated in her post the importance of exercise and training. Lee took her six months to be 100% recovered from pregnancy and giving birth and the key to achieving that is patience and determination.
