The City Harvest Church (CHC) devotee who wrote a passionate open letter to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong implying that opposition members are responsible for the public outcry against the lighter sentence imposed on his Church leaders, has invited his detractors to join him for Easter services. The devotee, Desmond Loo, had earlier suggested that the Government should listen to the “real people” and let the sentence be without appealing it.

Writing in his Facebook Desmond said that he loves his church, his country and the stability and peace the Singapore government provides through visionary and committed leaders. He added that his detractors should join him in his church over the long weekend to better understand how his values are shaped.

“This is real invitation to discover the love God has for you, performed by a group of really talented volunteers…come and bring your family and friends who need healing or a miracle.” – Desmond Loo
