The partnership between global PR agency WE Communications and both Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and SGTech will focus on adding into startups capabilities in Singapore

The independent PR agency WE Communications (WE) announced partnership with IMDA and SGTech that will provide startups in Singapore with branding and marketing capabilities workshops and one-on-one coaching. The support from the worldwide agency will be under IMDA’s new initiative called Singapore Digital (SG:D) Spark.

The SG:D Spark initiative is set to help B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) Singapore-based infocomm media (ICM) startups to build their business and compete using Government support and industry tools.

Through the initiative, Singapore’s government aims to address the key growth challenges for most startups such as access to talent, funding, experienced mentors, and building initial business traction.

“We are excited about this partnership with IMDA, as it allows us to be part of the journey that helps evolve the nation’s digital economy and readiness,” said Jeremy Seow, Managing Director, WE Singapore.

Singapore is among the countries with a supportive government when it comes to startups as one of the burgeoning economy.

WE communications’ experiences working with brands like Hewlett Packard, F5 Networks, FWD, Lenovo, Shopee, and Wirecard in multiple sectors will be on the table for the startups that join the initiative.
