Former OnlyFans creator Titus Low surprised his followers after announcing he was engaged to Malaysian influencer Cheryl Chin, whom he had known for less than a month and was officially dating for about six hours.
In a YouTube video posted on Friday (June 17), Low, 22, and Chin, 21, answered some questions concerning their relationship, explaining how they were “meant to be.” As they were both “a little bit too spontaneous,” Low took the opportunity and proposed. When asked “how was the proposal,” Low explained that “it was peer pressure” that pushed him to pop the question, as he would not do so on a normal day.
The couple explained that they were having a hotpot supper at 4 am with friends, when influencer Debbie Soon quipped that they should get engaged.
“What made me so sure about him was, to be honest, I was in a YOLO (you only live once) mood, and I was just like, ‘You know what, this guy makes me happy,” said Chin on why she said yes.
Chin also confirmed that she wasn’t pregnant, although she was open to starting a family in the future.
Low made headlines in December last year after he was prosecuted for transmitting obscene materials on the subscription-based social media platform, OnlyFans.
The Singapore Police Force received a report on Sept 4 last year that a “man had allegedly transmitted, by electronic means, obscene materials in the form of images and videos of his private parts via his ‘OnlyFans’ account.”
Court documents say Low uploaded 32 pictures and 29 videos on his OnlyFans account.
Despite being told by the police to stop accessing his account, Low continued and uploaded three more lewd photos and five obscene videos in October 2021.
He was arrested on Dec 30, 2021, with two counts of transmitting obscene material via electronic means. He was also charged under the Criminal Procedure Code for going against police orders and logging into his OnlyFans account.
Low was granted bail worth S$5,000 under the condition that he stays away from OnlyFans and refrains from contacting prosecution witnesses.
Since then, Low went to other online platforms and began selling NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and sex toys in the shape of his genitals. /TISG
