DJ Jade Rasif enjoys sunny Cyprus in midst of pandemic

Singapore ― While most of us are under quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Singaporean DJ and influencer Jade Rasif is soaking up the sun in Cyprus.

Based on her social media post, the avid traveller is now in Cyprus and has been there since the end of September. The popular DJ has also visited 35 countries in the past, according to her Instagram bio.

Singaporean actress Chantalle Ng still feels nervous to see her name in headlines

Singapore — Chantalle Ng is no stranger to the spotlight. Apart from making headlines over a family controversy,  the 26-year-old actress has been in the news after starring in Channel 8 series, My Star Bride, as a Vietnamese bride in Singapore.

Ng has been in showbiz since 2013 but it was this role that catapulted her from being known as the daughter of veteran actress Lin Meijiao to fame in her own right.

Singapore — A video on Malaysia’s Mr Money TV YouTube channel comparing Singapore and Malaysia has gone viral, getting viewed on YouTube over 200,000 times since it debuted on Sept 22.

In the video “Malaysia VS Singapore, why are we so BEHIND?,” Mr Money TV’s Peter Yong takes a gander at why Malaysia has not progressed as much as Singapore has, despite beginning at pretty much the same starting line.

Angry uncle causes scene at Thai restaurant after failing to show his vaccination certificate

Singapore— Pandemic angst is still bearing down hard on people in everyday situations, including a man who reacted badly when he was not allowed to dine at a Thai restaurant in Bishan.

The reason for his rejection is that he could not prove to the staff at 99 Thai Story Kitchen that he had been fully vaccinated and was therefore allowed to dine in.

Girl earning three times more than her boyfriend says that he documents their expenses in table form down to the cents in order to equally share them

Singapore — A woman with a rather frugal boyfriend has asked netizens for advice on whether she should marry him or not.

In an anonymous confessions post, she said  her boyfriend was older than she is, and works full time, while she ran her own business. “However my income is about 3-4 times more than his”, she added. She did not think at first that their income gap would be a problem, but as time went on, they began arguing more and more about money.
