Shopee customer wonders why her parcel delivery unsuccessful for 7 days when she ‘was at home all this period but no delivery at sight’

SINGAPORE — A Shopee customer posted online a screenshot of the delivery process for her order, wondering why for seven days, it said that her parcel was out for delivery, but she still hadn’t received it.

“Look at this order delivery from Shoppee. Not sure what is their delivery doing, unsuccessful delivery since 4 Feb 2023 till 11 Feb 2023. Was at home all this period and no delivery at sight. Shoppee still not processing the refund,” wrote Ms Sen Ly on Facebook on the COMPLAINT SINGAPORE page on Saturday (Feb 11).

‘How’s your rent so cheap?’ — Netizens ask US expat in SG who appears to humblebrag his $5K/month expenses

SINGAPORE — “Singapore has gotten more expensive recently, I think anyone living here feels it,” wrote Gregory Andrle, an American expat who goes by @certified_gmo on TikTok, and has also been living in Singapore for the past several years.

He listed his monthly expenses, which add up to $4,750. For rent and utilities on a one-bedroom condo “slightly outside of central,” he pays $2,100. For eating out, he pays $700. He also spends $200 on gym and yoga; $400 on public transport and Grab rides; $300 on groceries and miscellaneous, but also allots $1000 a month for travel expenses.

Popular actor Idris Elba discussed his thoughts on race and identity while promoting Luther: The Fallen Sun, the long-awaited movie sequel to his former television series.

The star stopped describing himself as a ‘black actor’ as the label “put me in a box,” he said. Speaking to Esquire UK in its spring issue, Elba said he came to a realisation, and resolved to do something about it, even if it was a small gesture.

SINGAPORE — We’ve been treated to The Workers’ Party chair Ms Sylvia Lim’s singing talents time and again, but a recent clip shows that she’s no slouch when it comes to dancing as well. The WP posted a video of Ms Lim’s golden vocal pipes and fancy footwork over its Facebook and TikTok channels on Sunday (Feb 13).

But first, over TikTok, was a teaser; part of a poster from the WP showing several figures—bunnies as part of a lion dance (since its the Year of the Rabbit), a man holding two oranges (who may or may not be WP vice chair Mr Faisal Manap), and a woman in glasses dressed in a red cheongsam, holding a fan in one hand and a microphone in the other.
