Kids under 5 more vulnerable to COVID, children 5–11 may need booster jab to stay protected — Janil Puthucheary
Senior Minister of State for Health Janil Puthucheary said in Parliament on Monday (Aug 1) that children younger than five years old are “more vulnerable to COVID-19 infection and have higher rates of severe outcomes” but added that this is similar to other respiratory diseases.
He also pointed out that this age group is the last to be protected by vaccinations.

Have you ever wondered why we use Nurses’ Day and not Nurse’s Day, although we have Father’s Day or Mother’s Day, for example? It certainly does not mean that we are celebrating for all the nurses and only one father or mother.
Could this also be the reason we are seeing more people using the plural term for many words, or adding ‘s’ to words unnecessarily?
