Dear Editor,

After two years of being unable to travel, I departed from Singapore on March 31 and spent 18 days in England and Wales. The UK removed all COVID restrictions about a month ago. I have just returned home. I’m not vaccinated because I do not trust Big Pharma, the government or the vaccine.

The irony is I had a splendid time in the UK and was treated far better in a foreign country than I am in my own country. Never once did I wear a face mask and not once was I disallowed entry into any public park, building, restaurant, or shopping mall. I felt absolutely free and liberated for the first time in over two years.

The few times I tested myself, the ART test showed I was negative. This is why I am convinced that natural immunity beats vaccine immunity at any time. And that the punitive measures and indirect coercion against those who refuse the vaccine are a blatant abuse of authority. It is unjust, unfair, and unjustified. There is no way to defend this bad policy decision.

Cheers,
Lawrence Seow
