SINGAPORE: After a netizen received the wrong order of beer, he went to the address the seller provided. However, when he got there, there was no one there.

Foodpanda has since given him a full refund.

A netizen who goes by Slife Goals wrote on the COMPLAINT SINGAPORE Facebook post on Thursday (July 20) that he had ordered Sapporo beer on the evening of July 14, from the foodpanda platform.

However, instead of Sapporo, another brand was delivered.

The netizen wrote that he received Tiger brand beer from the seller. Some of the bottles of Tiger beer are set to expire by Aug 15, which is in less than a month.

He then decided to receive the package so as not to waste the efforts of the delivery rider.

However, he added that the seller had gone MIA (missing in action) when he made attempts to reach out.

“Trying to contact the seller but no avail!

Brought the Tiger beer to the seller’s address, but nobody was there!”

He also told the public to “Beware of this seller!!!”

The Independent Singapore has reached out to the Facebook user as well as to foodpanda for further comment.

According to the post, the beverage had been ordered from Yasai Logistics, whose address is 237A Jurong West Avenue 3.

The post author added in the comments that he has endeavored to communicate directly to the seller as well.

One commenter observed that the brand that was delivered to the post author is often less expensive than the brand he actually ordered.

A netizen pointed out that “Tiger beer left 1 month to exp date selling price usually around $1-$2.”

Another observed, however, that “But seem like the seller gave u 1 extra can as a form of compensation.”

Fortunately, it appears that all’s well that ends well, as the netizen has been fully refunded by foodpanda.
