On the heels of reports of a Singaporean woman in Thailand mistakenly eating cannabis in noodle soup because she thought it was kangkung, one Redditor posted photos of an HDB block with an eye-catching design.

Let’s just say the five-leaved design could easily be mistaken for something else.

‘Free bubble tea shut off my rationality’ — Ramen shop job offer with employee benefits ad receives praise from netizens

A Ramen shop’s advertisement for new hires has been the topic of conversation online, as its employee benefits were showcased in the poster.

An online user on Monday (Sept 26) shared a picture of a job hiring advertisement with an online news forum. The poster, featured a Ramen shop and the words, “Join the Takagi Ramen Shop (TRS) family” at the top.

Lawrence Wong says he’s honoured by ‘succession choice’ and sees himself as a ‘servant-leader’

Mr Lawrence Wong, heir apparent to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, said at a recent conference that he is present to serve as well as to lead.

“I believe that I’m here not just to lead but also to serve, and I see myself very much as a servant leader, doing my best to serve Singapore and Singaporeans,” he said at the 20th Forbes Global CEO Conference gala dinner at the Ritz Carlton on Monday (Sept 26).

Train to Busan? — Empty metro station and barricaded train in Singapore spook online users

A video of an empty train and an automated voice in the metro station instructing people not to board has got online users spooked, causing a handful to make references to the horror movie, Train to Busan. 

An online user on Tuesday (Sept 28) shared an eerie video clip that seemed to set the mood for Halloween.

A woman took to social media in an attempt to find the person who’s been adding to the dirt in her surroundings.

Ms Penelope Chin appealed via the Complaint Singapore Facebook page for help on Wednesday (Sept 28) by asking one of her neighbours to stop throwing specific pieces of rubbish out of their window as it ends up in her surroundings.
