Police arrest man who threw stools at SDAs outside AMK Hub play area
Singapore — In the latest incident of people treating safe distancing ambassadors (SDAs) badly, one man threw stools and shouted vulgarities at them on Sunday (Oct 24) at AMK Hub.
What prompted his violence was that the SDAs had asked him to wear his mask properly.
He was later arrested by the police for committing a rash act.
S$300 fine for cyclist disobeying signs to slow down on Rail Corridor footpath
Singapore — A cyclist was fined for exceeding the 10 kilometres per hour speed limit on the Rail Corridor, sparking a lengthy debate among netizens.
One Zhen Yang took to Facebook page SG PCN Cyclist on Wednesday (Oct 27) to share a Notice of Offence received by the National Parks Board (NParks).

Singapore — Terry Xu, editor of the now defunct website The Online Citizen (TOC) accompanied by his lawyer, Lim Tean, handed over a DBS Bank cashier’s order for S$298,832.93 to Davinder Singh Chambers LLC representing Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
The sum represents the damages awarded to PM Lee plus legal costs.
In September 2021, the High Court had awarded PM Lee S$210,000 in damages: S$160,000 as general damages and S$50,000 as aggravated damages.
