Singapore – Terrible and heart-breaking news surround the world at all times. But one act of selfless care is always a bright ray of sunshine that will restore a man’s faith in humanity. The following example is exactly the much-needed splash of light our current events need.

Located in Juron East is Al-Mukminin Mosque, a place that is all about spreading love and goodwill to the community. Their current initiative is providing free drinks for anyone and everyone every Friday for the next few weeks. In line with the Maulid season, passers-by can stop and enjoy a variety of ice cold drinks which is a great treat on a hot day.

The mosque posted the great news via their Facebook page and it was received with much praise and gratefulness by the online community. See their post below:

Netizen Sarah Salleh is ecstatic in her comment and applauds the mosque. She calls for the other establishments to follow their lead. Christine May Jandoc Cristobal wishes for more blessings for the mosque. Al-Mukminin is not taking these encouragements for granted and replies to each one personally.

Al-Mukminin Mosque is not a newbie in giving back to the community. It was only about a week ago when they were giving out free fruits! They captioned their post with:

FREE FRUITS FOR ALL ???? On this blessed day, we’re sharing fruit platters with our beloved jemaah and friends. Yummy and healthy ???? Get yours while stocks last! #almukmininmosque #inspiringMukmin

It is a known fact that the mosque is very transparent about their affairs. They make sure to engage everyone in the decision-making process, such as choosing the new carpet for the mosque. They started a poll and the results and other information were posted in their page.

They also offer free basic Solat workshops.

Or just boost a person’s day by spreading some worthwhile quotes such as the following. #MondayMukminMotivation
