A groom-to-be who was stood up by his runaway bride has put up his entire wedding package for resale on online consumer-to-consumer marketplace, Carousell, for a steal at S$28,888 negotiable.
The package, only available for 13 October 2017 at the Marina Mandarin, includes: 30 tables (with deposit paid), wedding car (Maserati or Mercedes) with chauffeur, wedding gown and suit for bride and groom (for all sizes, with fitting services), dresses and suits for bride’s and groom’s parents (for all sizes, with fitting services), gowns for 6 or more bridesmaids (for all sizes, with fitting services), AND photographer and videographer for wedding dinner and gatecrash.
The “depressed” groom-to-be to be reportedly “paid the ultimate price for conforming to our government’s policy: “Marry young, f!@# now, give birth to more babies, help fight the aging population.”” according to the Carousell listing’s description.
If you are not getting married, but refer a couple to take up this wedding package, you may receive a commission for your referral services as well!
However, the groom-to-be will also accept an alternative solution: if you can introduce a girl to him who can fall in love with him and marry him on the wedding date he’s set.
The 28-year-old groom, who is said to be “not ugly, not skinny, smoker, social drinker, Godzilla slayer, most importantly, a filial son” says:
